Pastel Easter
I hope yous had a wonderful Easter weekend! Lincoln convinced his grandparents that the twelve hr drive was worth making for two and a half days together and it was so wonderful to have family here for the holiday. We await forwards to each time we get visitor but there is something virtually having loved ones close when celebrating life + hope + love that makes it fifty-fifty more special. Plus, yous can't beat out house guests who exercise all of the dishes and half the cooking 😉 #pregnancyperks
Here are just a few snapshots of our Easter Sunday (my favorite is Lincoln in my dad's arms – that grinning!):
^Hither'due south the group of u.s.a. after church – Ben sang a duet and my little sister had a few people come up and compliment her on her husband's singing 😛
^Nosotros didn't go all out with Easter decor but this blue linen tabular array runner I picked upwards for the occasion and these piffling eggs from Pier i were the perfect touch
^Lincoln loved having adoring adults in the firm all weekend – he warms up to my family unit much faster each time nosotros meet them and this time he couldn't get plenty of Grandpa (over Christmas he might take been a bit terrified of Grandpa in the beginning 🙂
^Does your teenage sister jump upwards and start doing dishes at your house while anybody else is still chatting at the table? Also, in that location is zippo better than watching your family unit love your baby
^Ignore me – simply look at Lincoln's face up 🙂
^For dinner we had a delicious brisket my mom made, my favorite crescent rolls (recipe here), my sister'due south crisis top potatoes, salad, and peas (per Lincoln's request). We then skipped all dessert baking plans we had and opted for a lite assortment of Easter candy.
^This lilliputian boy LOVES to be outside. He stands at the door and begs nigh iv times a day to get outside. It didn't hurt that yesterday was 70 degrees either (not photographed:the beautiful little gunkhole shoes we had on him for half of the day)
^My dinner plate (we moved the tabular array outside and so we could savour the weather on the back deck).
^All the Easter clothes came off for dinner 😉
